V0.2.1 | Draft for reviewLast updated October 30, 2026

Everything should feel like Renaissance.

Friendly. Genuine. Welcoming. A consistent RACE experience, wherever students discover us.

Mandy approved RACE's welcoming brand voice and confirmed that the supplied photos and models have permission for public RACE website and marketing use. Logo usage rules and design templates remain under review by Mandy and Danny.

01 / Brand foundation

Professional education with a genuinely warm welcome.

Approved by Mandy | October 30, 2026 Our brand voice should feel friendly, genuine, and inviting to everyone. Specific marketing headlines and positioning statements still require review.

Approved voice

Friendly, not formal

Sound like someone who would happily show a visitor around campus. Keep language easy to understand and conversational.

Approved voice

Genuine, not exaggerated

Show real people, real learning spaces, and the experience of exploring school. Never promise jobs, licensure or earnings.

Approved voice

Inviting, not exclusive

Use welcoming words and pictures that reflect different people and paths. Encourage questions without pressure.

Sound like RACE: "Curious about beauty school? Come see RACE, explore your options, and ask us anything." Avoid: "Only the best belong here," high-pressure countdowns, luxury-only clichés, and statements that imply guaranteed admission or outcomes.
02 / Logo and supplied assets

The RACE mark, preserved as provided.

Mandy supplied a high-resolution horizontal PNG with transparency. It is now displayed below exactly as provided, with no redraw or recoloring. We still need to confirm it is the approved current variant and whether a vector master exists.

Confirm official usage

Is this the current approved logo? Are there reverse/white, stacked, icon-only or vector versions? We should not invent them.

Interim guidance: use the complete PNG on white or very light backgrounds, with comfortable clear space. Don't stretch, crop, trace or recolor it.

Exact logo clear space, print minimum, small-screen minimum and permitted dark-background treatments stay unapproved until the authentic masters are checked.

Review asset details →

Source status: This PNG is an authentic upload from Mandy, but that alone is not a formal approval of every usage. The mark is not Arimo body text and must never be recreated using a font. Public marketing uses should follow the confirmed logo variants and licensing.
03 / Color

Recognizable RACE color, with a job for each shade.

Exact values below are documented in the Master Handoff. Proposed use: charcoal for text, soft/off-white for editorial surfaces, sage for shared CTAs, and program colors for distinctive accents.

Accessibility note: Neither normal-sized charcoal text (4.09:1) nor white text (3.61:1) passes the 4.5:1 AA normal-text threshold on the Cosmetology color. Use it as an accent, with a separate approved readable text surface. Sage on charcoal also misses the threshold. These measurements are not new official brand colors.

06 / Photography

Real people. Natural moments. Room to belong.

We now have 17 photographs provided by Mandy. They show an approachable, welcoming group environment, bright salon and spa spaces, and hands-on tools. Mandy confirmed permission for RACE to use the supplied photographs and pictured models in public website and marketing materials on October 30, 2026. Photographer credit terms and pictured individuals' roles are not independently documented.

Photo/model use confirmed by Mandy

Mandy confirms RACE is permitted to use these photographs and models in its website and marketing. This review page uses optimized web previews only; original files remain in the separate private archive. Layout examples still require creative approval.

Photography principles: show connection without staged luxury, preserve natural skin tones and realistic tools, keep comfortable crops around faces and hands, avoid strong artificial retouching. We will not assume anyone's role or identity from a photograph.

All files shown are optimized website previews of supplied JPGs. The source images are preserved separately in an internal-only archive. Photo permission and release record: checklist checklist.

07 / Voice and messaging

Friendly. Genuine. Inviting.

Approved by Mandy The overall voice is welcoming to everyone. These examples show what that sounds like in practice; specific headlines and templates remain proposals.

Approved voice

Talk like a welcoming person.

"Curious about RACE? We'd love to help you get to know the school and explore what might be a good fit."

Sample wording proposed; tone itself is approved.
Proposed for review

Invite, don't pressure.

"Have questions about schedules, tuition or programs? Reach out or come visit. We're happy to talk through your options."

Avoid: "Enroll now or miss your future."
Approved guardrails

Financial aid language

"Financial Aid options where available for those who qualify."

Nail Technology is not an FSA program. Avoid blanket funding, earnings or job guarantees.
Still unresolved

Formal naming and claims

Confirm the legally preferred school name and approved short labels for each program, especially Lash & Brow Technology.

Welcome everyone to explore; do not imply guaranteed admission, eligibility, or licensure.
08 / Beyond the website

All layouts below are newly composed proposals. The same restrained color, typography direction and practical voice should translate across channels after review.

For Mandy

Start with the one-page quick sheet and the visual components. Decide which proposed personality traits, layouts and examples feel true to RACE.

For Danny

CSS and JSON token names match. The original palette is established; typography, spacing and components are review-only until approved. Keep existing locked pages stable.
